Ricardo Milani appointed Vice-President Airports Customer Experience

oneworld™, the leading global airline alliance, has appointed Ricardo Milani to the new post of Vice-President Airports Customer Experience.

Reporting to oneworld's Managing Partner Peter Buecking, Ricardo will be responsible for leading efforts by the eight members of the alliance - Aer Lingus, American Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Finnair, Iberia, LanChile and Qantas - for smoothing the way for passengers transferring between oneworld airline flights.

He will also manage the colocation of oneworld members in key airports around the world and seek efficiencies, where possible and appropriate.

He joins the oneworld Management Company from LanChile, where he was Director of Central Support and oneworld Airports, serving in that capacity as a member of the oneworld airports group, responsible for airports systems, standards and procedures for passenger and ramp operations, for training, code-shares, quality control and central baggage tracing.

Before joining LanChile four years ago, he worked for Canadian Airlines, serving in various airport operations capacity, in commercial management and as Country Manager in Brazil. Among the airport operations he established for Canadian were London Heathrow, Beijing and Mexico.

Aged 42, he was born in Buenos Aires and is a Canadian citizen and is fluent in English, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese.
